Résumé

L’objectif de l’article est de revoir les critiques à propos du concept d’État Failli et d’identifier comment ces critiques élargissent le débat actuel sur le sujet. Nous avons pour cela décidé de répartir ces critiques en trois groupes : tout d’abord, les contributions qui remettent en question les formes d’identification de l’échec de l’État ; ensuite, celles qui problématisent le rapport entre les États Faillis et la prolifération du terrorisme transnational ; et, enfin, les ouvrages qui privilégient la forme par laquelle le discours sur les États Faillis est construit et utilisé pour l’action politique.
