Résumé

L’article aborde la littérature en sociologie économique, un domaine qui s’est institutionalisé rapidement à partir d’un dialogue critique avec l’économie néoclassique. Considérant l’importance que le domaine a acquise et l’absence d’un examen de documentation au Brésil sur la production aux États-Unis, cet article vise à construire un “état de l’art” de la sociologie économique de ce pays, en identifiant les principaux auteurs, outils théoriques et débats. Nous soutenons que le domaine a été construit autour du concept d’Enracinement utilisé par Karl Polanyi et récupéré par Mark Granovetter, qui inspire directe ou indirectement les auteurs et organise des débats sur le domaine.

Mobiliza uma intensa rede franco-brasileira a partir de eventos e publicações com pesquisadores franceses. Tem diversas publicações nacionais e internacionais com o enfoque em Sociologia Econômica. Mais recentemente, dedica-se à noção de socioanálise, de Pierre Bourdieu, reivindicando a sua aplicação no estudo das emoções.

Professor de Estudos Organizacionais e do Trabalho da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar). Doutor em Engenharia de Produção pela UFSCar, com período no departamento de Estratégia e Organizações da Universidade de Alberta, no Canadá. Realizou pós-doutorado no Departamento de Sociologia da Universidade de Stanford. Foi professor visistante do Centro de Estudos Latino-Americanos da Universidade de Stanford.
