Abstract

Este artigo analisa as políticas de ciência, tecnologia e inovação atuando como instrumentos de estímulo ao desenvolvimento de ecoinovações no setor privado. Objetivo: investigar como as políticas para auxiliar as empresas na produção de tecnologias mais limpas e que reduzam o impacto ambiental e o consumo de recursos naturais estão sendo tratadas pela literatura. Método: optou-se por investigar o estado da arte das pesquisas científicas publicadas sobre essa temática por meio de uma revisão sistemática da literatura. Resultados: indicam que a pesquisa científica tem dado atenção a três tipos de instrumento para o estímulo à ecoinovação: as regulações, o impulso pela tecnologia e a indução pela demanda. Conclusões: enquanto as regulações introduzem as empresas a inovarem em benefício do meio ambiente, mesmo que no desenvolvimento de tecnologias incrementais e de baixo impacto, as políticas de impulso à tecnologia e a indução pela demanda estimulam, respectivamente, a melhoria das atividades de pesquisa e desenvolvimento (P&D) nas empresas e minimizam incertezas sobre a demanda por esses novos produtos.
