Résumé

Le programme de recherche sur la nationalisation des partis se consolide au Brésil, après avoir eu des répercussions au tournant du XXIe siècle sur l’analyse des systèmes de partis européens. Pourquoi la nationalisation d’un parti est-elle devenue importante? Les résultats trouvés dans la littérature des années 2000 ont montré que, puisque les partis sont nationalisés, c’est-à-dire avec une homogénéité eléctorale sur le territoire, deviennent des démocraties stables, compétitives et durables. Cet article examine comment le programme de recherche de ce thème a été développé, les développements théoriques et méthodologiques, et comment ce cadre analytique produit des recherches prometteuses sur la nationalisation des partis dans le contexte politique brésilien.
