Abstract

The article intends to present a bibliographical survey of the literature dedicated to the theme of international inter-ventions for human protection in the discipline of International Relations produced after the end of the Cold War. Such presentation is made through the examination of the many concepts of intervention (international interventions, humanitarian interventions, among others), as well as of auxiliary concepts (as State sovereignty and international community) and their interrelations with peace operations. The purpose of the survey is to serve as a basis for aca-demic-scientific studies and researches having as theme the phenomenon of international interventions for human protection.
