The article analyzed the 68 papers sent and presented in the Working Group dedicated to the analysis of the relationship between money and politics, in the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Social Sciences (Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Ciências Sociais), between 2011 and 2017. The main objective was to characterize this production through bibliometrics and content analysis of semantic networks. The main results are: an increase in the number of women researching the topic; recurrent production in co-authorship and inter-institutional collaboration; geographical and institutional diversity of production; prevalence of empirical works, performed using quantitative techniques; and, a gradual expansion of the thematic scope, for which the Working Group started to receive not only works on political financing, but also on related topics, such as lobbying and decision-making processes. These characteristics allow us to glimpse current trends and the coming years of the research field dedicated to the interfaces between money and politics in Brazil.
